I have been in this building for 5 years. All that time I never saw a bed bug but I was aware that the building had a problem and that several people on my floor had severe infestations that went unreported because of the tenents mental issues. I figured it was probably just a matted of time before they found my apartment and it finally happened this morning, 2:13 am. I scoured the apartment with a high intensity flashlight and did not see any eggs or poop or other bed bugs (the one that I did f
ind was dead with no head. I killed a moth that came into my place and I think he was munching on it when I killed it). I have seen what I now know to be 2nd stage instar bed bugs. I have seen several of those but thought they might be baby roaches. Hoped actually, how sad is that. They only do the heat treatment with the addition of freezing your belongings for treatment in my building. I would opt for the super poisonous treatment if offered because that was extremely effective from what I understand. I also sleep with a small fan pointed at my face to difuse the CO2 I expel while I sleep. I believe that is what they home in on. Anyway the whole things sucks but that's life in The San Francisco Tenderloin.....

Even though the Management Company has tried to cover this up, there has been way too many reports of severe bedbugs infestations in this building, they fired the company that was doing effective bedbug treatments, and now they have this "heat treatment company" that claims to have found the "silver bullet" for bedbugs, but tenants are STILL having serious problems, I am a Latin female with two little kids and this heating treatments are not working, I have complained about this problem, but the
manager keeps ignoring my complaints!!!!
