We got Bed Bugs back in apartment 308 in November 2020. It took me a while to figure out what it was because I'm reactive but my partner isn't reactive to their bits so I thought it was mosquitos when I went out on walks or something similar.

When I realized what it was I immediately contacted the building manager. They put me in contact with a pest management company that came and sprayed for bed bugs. We had to bag everything soft up and wash and dry it on high heat. It damaged several of o

ur clothes which had to be tossed. Then we had to keep everything in bags throughout the rest of the spraying (we had 3 sprays). Around the end of December or early Jan they seemed to be gone. It took about 7 weeks we figured out. The spraying took a little longer because apparently the building managers swapped companies after our first spraying and so we actually got 3 sprays. During those first couple weeks my sleep was constantly upended by fear of being bitten. I constantly woke up with new marks on my hands/feet/stomach/back/and even face! They itched worse than any other bug bites I've had.

They did not spray the apartments next to us...like should have been done as spraying only one apartment in a multi-family home can cause them to move to another apartments.

Now it's April 2021 and we just found another one, fully grown! I haven't gotten any bites so I'm pretty sure it came from another apartment. Living through 7 weeks of everything in bags the first time around was hell as well as the inability to sleep though a night well. I do NOT want to do it again. It turned my life upside-down. I was stressed for weeks while trying to work from home during COVID as well as it being through the already sad holiday season.
